Early Years Pupil Premium

​

 

The Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP) is an additional sum of money paid to childcare providers for children of families in receipt of certain benefits. This funding will be used to enhance the quality of their early years experience by improving the teaching, learning, facilities and resources, with the aim of impacting positively on your child’s progress and development. For more information and eligibility criteria please speak to your childcare provider.

 

Economic Criteria

 

You must be in receipt of one of the following

 

  • Income Support

  • Income-based Jobseekers Allowance

  • Income-related Employment and Support Allowance

  • Universal Credit.

  • Support from NASS (National Asylum Support Service) under part 6 of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999

  • the guarantee element of State Pension Credit

  • Child Tax Credit (with no Working Tax Credit) with an annual income of no more than £16,190

  • Working Tax Credit run-on

 

Or

  • Has left care under an adoption order or special guardianship order or a residence order/child arrangements order.
